PORT & SHERRY

  • Cockburns produces some of the worlds best ports – from vine to glass. From Portugal’s historic port making region comes the vivid ruby, smooth tawny and rare vintage ports. What sets these ports apart is a careful quality control standard exercised on all aspects of production. Cockburn’s is the largest landowner in the celebrated "Douro Superior" region of the sweeping Douro River Valley of Portugal, where all authentic port is produced. This assures large resources of the finest ports for its blends.
  • Croft Original is a subtle blend of the paleness and dry taste of a quality fino with the intensity and full-bodied palate of a Cream. With a delicate pale colour it is smooth and irresistible on the palate. Like all fine white wines Croft Original is best served chilled as an aperitif or with pates salmon or salads and is a wonderfully delicious alternative to desert wines.
  • Harvey's Bristol Cream is an authentic world class sherry. Comprising a unique blend of Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez wines it features flavours of roasted nuts and raisins, with a subtly spicy finish. Harveys Bristol Cream is usually served well chilled as an aperitif, as an after-dinner drink straight, or on the rocks with a wedge of lime or slice of orange. The ice lessens the viscosity and the citrus lowers the sweetness to create a refreshing drink.
  • Tio Pepe is… The world’s best-selling Fino Uncompromisingly dry Always served cold from the fridge Always kept and served just like a white wine Drunk, once opened, within 4 or 5 days Fantastic with food – especially savoury nibbles such as Jamon Iberico, chorizo, olives, nuts, Manchego cheese and bread and oil Great with fish or prawns and shrimps From Jerez in southern Spain Drunk by the locals in Jerez with tapas as they’ve done for over a century
