NEW ZEALAND WINES

  • The Esk Valley Estate winery sources fruit from Hawkes Bay, including world-renowned Gimblett Gravels and Marlborough, as both regions consistently produce grapes of an extremely high quality. Esk Valley is a boutique winery, but it is unique in that many of the techniques used to craft award-winning wines are dictated by the winery itself.
  • The Graham Norton Rosé is perfectly subtle, pink, fresh New Zealand fruity essence, dry – but eminently drinkable. The blending components each offered different qualities: summer berries with one, citrus with another, richness and stone fruits in the last piece of the puzzle. Graham weaves his magic again, blending the different personalities in wines just like he does with actors, comedians and artists to create a great show - loads of fun and a fantastic experience. We think he’s put out a crowd pleaser with this wine too.
  • Graham Norton controls every aspect of the blending process for his wines, combining southern hemisphere grapes with 'Norton hemisphere' brilliance creating a range of superb wines. His best selling Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough ("That's it! My perfect blend...and it's lovely.. tropical fruit, a bit of zing.. cheers to that" - Graham Norton) has been joined by a wildly popular Rosé (some call it a summer picnic in a bottle) also from New Zealand. "Graham's Shiraz is a bold, juicy wine full of character, just like the man himself" - Rob Cameron, Chief Winemaker. It made made by a process of combining Shiraz grapes from different regions in Australia such as Barossa, Langhorne creek, and The Riverlands to create something even more delicious than on their own. Graham's wines have been awarded over 50 accolades, including: Gold at the Global Sauvignon Blan Masters; twice Gold at the Sydney International Wine Competition; a Trophy at the UK People's Choice Awards; 90 points from both Robert Parker's Wine advocate and Wine Spectator
  • The new Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker Sauvignon Blanc is described by Invivo’s co-founder & winemaker Rob Cameron as, “Lifted notes of grapefruit, honey suckle flower, passionfruit and citrus zest. The palate is expansive and leads with a wall of sweet-scented fruits and a soft, but balanced acid spine.” I have thoroughly enjoyed the collaboration with Rob and Tim from Invivo,” explains Sarah Jessica Parker “Every part of the process from our initial conversations discussing wine styles, to the creative process on the brand and label design and of course, the Sauvignon Blanc blending session; it’s all been one exciting step after another. And a thrilling education in the business of winemaking, but more importantly, the love and passion behind Invivo.”
  • Vidal Estate winery is situated on the original site in Hastings, Hawkes Bay which was purchased by its founder Anthony Joseph Vidal back in 1905.  The winery itself is a combination of old and new. Modern state-of-the-art technology is used in conjunction with traditional winemaking techniques and some original elements of the building are used for Chardonnay fermentation and maturation. Vidal Estate sources grapes from New Zealand's second largest growing region, Hawkes Bay, including the world famous Gimblett Gravels. This area is defined by unique, free draining shingle soils and average temperatures up to three degrees hotter than most other areas in Hawkes Bay, resulting in complex and elegant red wines. Characterised by high sunshine hours and diversity of landscape and soil types, the Hawkes Bay region has earned a reputation as one of the finest wine producing regions in the world, in particular for classically styled Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and rich Chardonnay with underlying elegance. Fruit is also sourced from vineyards located in Marlborough, New Zealand's largest wine growing region. Vidal Estate is dedicated to environmentally friendly winemaking and sustainable winegrowing practices. This mindset allows Vidal Estate to contribute to New Zealand's "clean, green" image and increase quality assurance from vineyard through to the finished wine.
